About Me
My name is Dr Ailie Mitchell and I am an HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist providing psychological services in Glasgow and by telephone and online communication. I offer specialist, tailor-made psychology packages which are designed collaboratively with you to fit your budget and needs.
I am clinically experienced in working within the NHS and other organisations, in adult mental health settings and with young people and families in specialist services. I support people with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, addictions, career stress, bereavement, pain and chronic health conditions, problematic behaviours and relationship problems. I am also experienced in offering psychological consultation and training to groups and organisations.
I have a special interest in trauma and the ways in which it can shape us throughout our lives, and impact our relationships and families. I also have a special interest in women's mental health issues including post-natal depression, birth trauma and relational abuse.
My career has been diverse, I have worked in legal, corporate, social care, health care and educational settings. I have also lived and worked overseas for a number of years. As such, my approach to people of all backgrounds is open-minded, non-judgemental and valuing.
If you feel that you would like to discuss psychological services or therapy, I am happy to discuss these with you in a free of charge, no-obligation telephone call.
